Welcome to Portland Therapeutic Yoga

"Teachers Open The Door, But You Must Enter By Yourself"  ~Zen Proverb

The intention and mission of this supportive space is to share the many practices of yoga that promote self-awareness, self-healing, and peace. Practices from many lineages are embraced and combined in class to meet our current personal and cultural needs. Beyond the physical postures; breath, mantra, visualization, meditation and mudra reach and help transform us on even the most subtle of layers.

Group Yoga Classes

Comfortable and Welcoming... the SE Portland yoga studio is a simple one room space with old wood floors and a high ceiling.

Functional Movement Lab

While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional movement exercises also emphasize core stability.

... your yoga nidra email reminded me of the therapeutic benefits of your classes and it’s similarities to our approach here [India] towards yoga. Your classes do stand out compared to the many studios in Portland. I am glad you pursue it in this fashion and hope to take more classes upon my return. ~ N
